		<description>I thought that I was capturing dimming with &quot;auto-awake.&quot;  Perhaps the automatic dimmer is part of a newer phone (like the Samsung Galaxy or Hero?).  I&#039;ll have to look into whither the Android SDK has a hook for that.</description>

your FlashLight is the best (and I guess I tested all of them), because with a little wiggling on the screen it readjusts the brightness after the automatic dimmer dims the screen. Would it be possible to turn off the automatic dimmer (sensor-adjusted brightness) and then turn it on again after FlashLight is closed?
